Particulars

Nahathai Satjalert was a female vocalist for the Thai indie band Thotsakan, founded by her boyfriend Athipat Wichan. She performed with the band for several years and was a beloved member of the musical group.

On July 15, 2026, a devastating fire broke out at Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao bar in Bangkok during a Thotsakan performance. The blaze engulfed the stage and cut off power, trapping performers and patrons. Nahathai was among four band members who lost their lives in the inferno, which claimed 33 total victims and left 15 others critically injured.

Her death deeply affected the band and its leader. Athipat Wichan expressed profound grief at her funeral, saying he had imagined growing old together and regretted bringing her into the band. The tragedy occurred just before what would have been Athipat's birthday celebration, which instead became a funeral.
