Andrés Gómez Mora was a prominent Spanish business executive best known for his long tenure as president of Eurocaja Rural, one of Spain's largest rural savings banks. He led the financial institution for 28 years, overseeing a period of significant stability and growth that established the cooperative as a major reference in the Spanish financial system.

Under his leadership, Eurocaja Rural expanded its presence across multiple autonomous communities, including Castilla-La Mancha, Madrid, and the Valencian Community, while maintaining its commitment to the rural sector and cooperative values. His stewardship was characterized by a focus on solvency, customer trust, and organic expansion even during challenging economic periods.

Gómez Mora stepped down from the presidency in 2016 after nearly three decades at the helm, leaving behind a legacy of institutional strength and regional development. He passed away in August 2026 at the age of 89.
