Carlos "Mosquito" Domingos Massoni was a Brazilian professional basketball player who became one of the pillars of his country's golden era of the sport. He played for the senior Brazilian national team across several major international tournaments, competing in multiple Olympic Games and FIBA World Championships during the 1960s and 1970s.

Massoni won a gold medal at the 1963 FIBA World Cup and a silver medal at the 1970 edition, adding bronze medals at the 1967 World Cup. At the Olympic level he earned bronze medals with Brazil at both the 1960 Rome and 1964 Tokyo Summer Games, cementing his reputation as a double Olympic medalist.

At club level he was associated with the dominant São Paulo basketball scene, including Esporte Clube Sírio, which featured many of Brazil's leading players of the era. His achievements made him a recognized figure in Brazilian basketball history, and he was later honored in the sport's hall of fame records.
