Particulars
Francisco José Gálvez Ariza, known artistically as Frank Gálvez, was born in 1976 in Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Barcelona. He emerged in the Spanish indie scene in the late 1990s, joining the band Gasca and contributing to their 2001 album Telescopio, which became a reference point for independent pop of that era.
Later he partnered with Guille Mostaza, forming the duo Mostaza Gálvez. Together they released the EP Restos (2016) and three full-length albums— Vida y milagros (2017) and Desventura (2020)—blending melodic pop with electronic elements. In 2023 he launched a solo career with the album Siempre te diré que sí, produced by Mostaza and issued by Subterfuge Records.
Beyond music, Gálvez built a parallel career as a voice actor and dubbing director for over 25 years. His voice appeared in high‑profile series and films such as La casa del dragón (Game of Thrones spin‑off), Padre de familia, the Dune saga, and Black Adam. He remained active in both fields up until his death on 10 August 2026 at the age of 49.
