José Humberto de Oliveira, widely known as Zé Humberto, was a Brazilian professional footballer and coach. Born on 30 July 1962, he began his professional playing career in 1982 at Uberaba as a midfielder, later representing clubs including Democrata-GV, Brasil de Pelotas, Atlético-PR and Figueirense. Between 1990 and 1992 he played for Santos, competing in the Campeonato Brasileiro, the Paulista and the Supercopa da Libertadores, and in 1992 took part in the club's title in the Torneio American Super Cup of Football in Taipei, scoring one of Santos' goals in the competition.
After retiring as a player, Zé Humberto began his coaching career in 1997 at Matsubara-PR and went on to manage clubs in several Brazilian states, including Ferroviária, Uberlândia, Anápolis and Itumbiara, where he won the Campeonato Goiano. He also achieved prominence in Espírito Santo football, winning titles with Atlético Itapemirim and earning promotion to the first division with Forte FC.
In 2026 he was appointed coach of Nova Lavras Esporte Clube for the Campeonato Mineiro's second division. He died on 20 August 2026 at the age of 64 after suffering two heart attacks and ten cardiac arrests during a training session with the club.
