Luiz Gutemberg was a Brazilian journalist from Maceió, Alagoas, who became a leading reference in political journalism in Brasília. He began his career in the 1950s at the Jornal do Brasil in Rio de Janeiro before moving to the federal capital, where he helped found the Jornal de Brasília and the weekly Jornal José, and also worked at the magazine Veja. He was widely known as a commentator on the Band network.
