Naveen Cassera was an Italian comedian from the Bergamo area who won the 2026 edition of BravoGrazie, a national festival dedicated to comedy and cabaret. Born in India, he arrived in the Val Seriana region of Lombardy at nine months old and was adopted by a Bergamasque couple, growing up in Fiorano al Serio. He was the father of two teenage children and built his entire life in the Val Seriana valley.

Comedy was not his first career. After several seasons working as a tourist entertainer, he chose a more stable job once he became a parent, working first in a hardware store and later as a purchasing manager at a water-treatment company in Cologno al Serio. In 2024 he enrolled at the Accademia del Comico in Milan, undertaking a three-year course to refine his writing, stage presence, and comic timing.

From that point his commitments multiplied, balancing a weekday job with weekend performances on the stages of comedy clubs and contests. He also took part in activities linked to Area Zelig, the Milan comedy workshop, with television and Zelig as his goal. His victory at BravoGrazie in 2026 marked the high point of his emerging career before his death on 13 August 2026 at the age of 38.
