Pino Di Salvo was an Italian radiotelevision journalist with a long career at the public broadcaster Rai. He served as a special envoy for the TG2 news program, covering major international events and also contributed to TG3 and radio news. His professional experience included extended assignments in the Far East, notably in Tokyo.

After his reporting career, Di Salvo taught television journalism at the Università LUMSA, sharing his expertise with a new generation of journalists. He also authored the essay "Il giornalismo televisivo," published by Carocci, reflecting on the practice and evolution of TV news.

Di Salvo was born in Chieri, near Turin, and after completing his studies he completed a practicum at La Stampa before working for the newspaper Avvenire. He is survived by his wife, three children, and four grandchildren.
