Roger Sicard was a French entrepreneur from the Vendée region, best known as the founder, with his wife Monique, of the Sicard briocheries, a chain of shops bearing the family name. He was widely recognized as a leading figure of Vendée entrepreneurship and played a key role in turning the traditional Vendéenne brioche into a product consumed throughout the year rather than only on special occasions.

Through the Sicard stores, he helped build a regional brand that became closely associated with the culinary identity of the Vendée. His work contributed to the wider recognition of the Vendéenne brioche as a staple of the region's gastronomy.

Roger Sicard died on 16 August 2026 in Saint-Jean-d'Hermine, Vendée, at the age of 81.
