Safwan Awae was a Thai professional footballer who played as a winger. He spent time with Pattani FC, where he scored seven goals in eighteen matches and helped the club earn promotion to the Thai Second Division. In late July 2026, he signed a contract with Yala FC. His life ended tragically in August 2026 when he was struck by lightning during a Golok Cup match at Santiphap Stadium in Narathiwat province. He was 24 years old.
